Madam to Sews has years of experience with the techniques of drapery and upholstery workrooms, working with decorators and homeowners. Let us alter your existing or new window treatments to the correct width and length! Madam to Sews makes some curtains and valences; we don’t make custom drapes or do installations. We make new, perfectly fitting, cushion covers for all types of seating: patio sets, benches, window seats. Madam to Sews doesn’t sell fabrics but we calculate the yardage you’ll need!

Professional Sewing For Your Furniture

We custom-make new and replacement cushion covers for chairs, benches, window seats and patio sets. Welts, zippers, snaps and ties are replicated.
We repair and mend cushion covers.
Zipper replacements.
Add foam or Dacron wrap to plump flattened cushions.
Re-cover (staple and underline) Dining Room chair seats.
Repair or replicate decorative pillows and pillow covers.
Madam to Sews makes some slipcovers; the piece must be delivered to the shop. Text an image of your project for discussion.
Mend blankets, sheets and towels or replace binding – the silky borders – on blankets.
Some Linen napkin repairs.

For Your Windows

Draperies: We shorten or lengthen, if possible, your custom made or store-bought panels.
Alter the widths of your panels: to split your panels or join together.
Madam to Sews doesn’t install window treatments.
