Do you replace zippers?

Yes, Madam to Sews does offer zipper replacement on coats, down coats, athletic wear, pants, jeans, backpacks, sleeping bags, dresses, skirts, and most garments. Zipper length and your particular piece of clothing vary. Please come in for a price on your zipper replacement.

What is your turn around time?

Madam to Sews usually has a turnaround time of ten to twelve days on common alterations like hemming pants, zipper replacements and simple women’s alteration. Call and let us know about your alterations and we can give you a better time frame.

Monday & Tuesday 9:00-4:00
Thursday & Friday Noon-6:00
Wednesday & Saturday appointments available by request.

Is Madam to Sews open on Saturday or Sunday

Madam to Sews reserves Wednesday and Saturdays for appointments only. We do not accept walk-ins on these days. And we are closed on Sunday.

Do you alter prom dresses?

Yes, Madam to Sews does alter prom dresses and gowns. We accept appointments for prom dresses from February through May. Make your appointment as soon as you have your dress. Prom dress alterations range from simple hems to full dress resizing.

Do you make patio cushion covers?

Yes, Madam to Sews does make patio cushion covers. We also cut new foam inserts. Madam to Sews will help you with your fabric choice, yardage calculations and online sources but we do not sell fabric.

Do you sew on Boy Scout or other Organization badges?

Yes, Madam to Sews will sew on your badges. We try to have your item ready for the next time you need it.

Does Madam to Sews do urgent alterations?

Madam to Sews will try to accommodate your sewing and stitching needs. Please call and let us know your situation.

Do you do “original hems” on jeans?

Yes, Madam to Sews does “original hems” on jeans. Please make an appointment for this service.
